Jumba is a playful
character that appears on the TV show "Jersey Shore" but was later
featured in "The Jumba Show" on MTV. He is the owner of a pizza shop
in South Beach, and his restaurant has become a favorite stop for South Beach
visitors. He also appears frequently in television commercials.
The character was named
after the famous Jumba, a character on the TV show "Cheers." Jumba
was a friend of Stan (Stu), played by David Hyde Pierce. When Stan discovered
that Jumba's cousin John (John Candy) had been a dancer with an alcoholic
father, he took him to work with him at Jumba's pizza restaurant. Stan soon
learned that Jumba was actually a fraud who was a con artist, and Stan started
a fight with him when they went to an engagement party. In the end, Stan
convinced Jumba to leave for South Beach, where he met Stan, played by Brad
Pitt.
Because Stan and Jumba
were close, they developed a friendship that led to Stan taking on a job in New
York and Jumba getting a job as a DJ for a radio station in New Jersey. Jumba
did not like being apart of Stan, and eventually left the pizza shop to join
Stan's entourage on a trip to South Beach. Jumba was not very happy at first
because he felt that Stan was stealing him from his real life, and his friend
John Candy made him realize that he could leave Stan and still have his real
life. Stan later invited Jumba to stay in South Beach, and he soon found out
that the city has a lot of opportunities for artists. Jumba then decided to
become a musician.
Jumba's story became
popular among South Beach tourists and it soon became the subject of a book
written by Michael Joyce. "Jumba the Musical" tells the story of
Jumba and his struggle to get a recording contract, which finally lands him a
spot on "The Real World" reality show. After some time off the show,
Jumba returns to Miami to open a pizza shop. Jumba soon finds out that he is
not as talented as Stan and has to take more lessons to be able to keep up with
Stan and other musicians in the area.
Jumba Casino is a
live-action video game, but it is still the same game Jumba used to appear on
"Cheers," and the same one he appears on the television show
"Jersey Shore." The player controls the character through different
stages of Jumba's life, and battles enemies. The player uses Jumba's
imagination in the form of musical blocks to do various tasks, such as creating
a musical score or rearranging an old jumba board to make a jumba block that
sounds like a beat.
Players are required to
